Johnny Conqueroo
Johnny Conqueroo
Johnny Conqueroo is a highly kinetic blues-rock trio from Lexington, KY. After releasing their first EP in 2015, the band drew the attention not only of local and regional audiences (selling out venue after venue), but also industry professionals. Currently partnering up with veteran producer Tom Zutaut (Guns N Roses, Motley Crue, Tesla, etc) and engineer David Barrick (Kentucky Headhunters, Black Stone Cherry, Vince Gill), a new record is in the works. Momentum has only continued to soar with their fanbase outgrowing venues and the reach of social media inspriring booking requests in new markets.

While 2016 is looking to be a watershed year for these dudes, it is important to look at the grassroots support and organic exposure from 2015, which pushed their EP towards the top of the regional charts in both air-play (WRFL College Radio) and record sales (Independently owned "CD-Central"), leading to a popular "WRFL-Live" performance on Thanksgiving eve. As word spread, and EPs changed hands, eventually even R & R Hall of Famer Billy Gibbon's took notice
The Summit
The Summit is an Ohio born supergroup firmly built on the foundation of soulful blues rock n' roll. Highly energized performances and melody-infused anthems define the band as one of the region's most powerful and heavily anticipated rock outfits.

The band includes Chris Scott (lead vocals/harp), Mike Hennel (drums/vocals), Leo Clarke (guitar/vocals) and David Heffron (bass/vocals). The Summit have taken some well-loved time-tested recipes and put their own mark on them. "You might be able to identify some of their influences, but they're not just copying licks. You can cop an attitude, but you can't fake soul. They got soul!"

Collectively, the group has over 60 years of tour experience; recording and playing with Grammy award winning and Hall of Fame inductees. Some of the artists they have recently shared the stage with include Robin Trower, Buddy Guy, Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band, JJ Grey and Mofro, Rusted Root,Victor Wooten, Davy Knowles & Backdoor Slam, Blues Traveler, Indigenous, Candlebox, Seven Mary Three, Bernie Worrell, Peter Frampton, and Derek Trucks.

Most recently, Scott completed a residency down in Nashville, TN wiritng and performing with some of the country's most accomplished musicians. He also worked with Grammy nominated artist and producer, Lincoln Parish (Cage the Elephant), on the production and release of Gypsy Comet's EP entitled, Burn it Down.

Scott's experiences in Nashville have placed him firmly back to his roots as a singer-songwriter and he raves about The Summit's heavily anticipated new material by reaffirming the groups unique sound: "Working these guys over the past few months has made me realize how easy song-writing can be. I've been wiritng with Mike for well over 10 years and our library of material is endless. Leo's incredible slide ability and the amazing respect he carries throughout so many blues markets has made us realize how collectively powerful this group is!"
